What it does for you
Your number, still on your phone
Connect with the WhatsApp Business app number you already use. It keeps working on your phone. A personal WhatsApp number has to be on the WhatsApp Business app before it can be connected. Until then, the click-to-chat link on the shop still works.
The bot only on your connected number
Orders are taken on the number you connected. BillingApp's shared number still sends receipts and, if a message could be for more than one business, asks which one. It does not take standing orders.
One reply, and a Yes before anything is saved
Each incoming message gets one reply. The order is written only after the customer taps Yes on a message that shows the quantity and the days. A question that is not an order is answered by the shop assistant, once.
STOP, and you can take over
STOP silences the order bot until the customer sends START. A reply you send from Messages pauses the bot in that chat. Resume bot is the button that lets it speak again.
Questions shop that sells on WhatsApp owners ask
Can I keep my own WhatsApp number?
Yes, if it is on the WhatsApp Business app. Connecting it leaves the number on your phone. A personal WhatsApp number is refused until you move it to the WhatsApp Business app. The shop's click-to-chat link keeps working either way.
Who pays for the WhatsApp messages?
Meta bills conversation fees to the business's own WhatsApp account. BillingApp does not add those fees to your plan. The order bot itself is a paid BillingApp module.
Does the bot send voice notes?
No. It sends text, and buttons or a short list the customer can tap.
Does BillingApp work with FBR or add sales tax to my bills?
FBR-connected invoicing is not included in BillingApp today. If you need it, contact us to discuss a separately quoted implementation and its delivery time. BillingApp does not add sales tax to customer sale bills. On a distributor's purchase bill it records the sales tax, the further tax and the advance tax (236H) exactly as printed, and checks the total against the paper.
