Deleting your data

If your business uses BillingApp

• The owner writes to us from the mobile number or email the account was registered with, so we know the request is genuine.
• Before deleting, we can give you a copy of your records if you want one.
• We then delete the account, its staff sign-ins and all of the business's records - products, invoices, payments, accounts, customers, suppliers, WhatsApp messages and online shop - within 30 days. Copies in backups are overwritten on their normal cycle.
• Keep a copy of anything you must keep for tax purposes first: once deleted, records cannot be restored.

If you work for a business that uses BillingApp

The business owner can remove you from their team in the app. To have your sign-in and personal details deleted as well, write to us from the number you sign in with.

If you are a customer or supplier of a business

Your name, number and transactions in a business's records belong to that business, so ask the business first. You can also write to us, telling us which business: we will pass your request on and help it get done. A business may have to keep invoices and payments for tax law, but it can remove your phone number so no more WhatsApp messages reach you.

Messages you sent to BillingApp's WhatsApp number: write to us from that number and we will delete them.

If you ordered from a BillingApp online shop

Your order details are held by the shop you ordered from. Ask the shop, or write to us with the shop's name and your order number and we will pass your request on.
